Microseismic monitoring of hydraulic fracturing is a modern method of passive seismic survey successfully used by the world’s leading companies to improve the efficiency of tight and unconventional reservoir development.
Microseismic monitoring technology provides information about the reservoir’s behaviour during hydraulic fracturing. It leaves no doubt whether hydraulic fracturing has occurred and what the fracture’s geometry is. Microseismic monitoring is based on the fact that fracturing is accompanied by acoustic events. Registration of those events allows locating the sources position in space.

Our technology allows us to use ground equipment. A properly calculated acquisition design eliminates the need to immerse receiving antenna elements to combat noise. We do not need additional observation wells with recording equipment and logging stations. All this simplifies the technological process and reduces the cost of work.
An important feature of the technology is proactive monitoring. We provide information on fracture development in real time, which makes it possible to timely adjust the hydraulic fracturing process.
